Narrator:
The world held its breath. Billions of dollars, decades of missions, and now—at last—NASA was ready to reveal proof of life on Mars.

On Stage:
Dr. Globus Maximus slammed a pointer onto the screen.
“Behold! Olivine Lifeform Alpha-7, also known as… the Alien Egg!”

A rock photo filled the projector. The audience gasped.
Intern Jimmy raised a shaky hand.
“Um… sir… isn’t that just… a pebble?”

Globus turned beet red.
“Silence, Jimmy! This is science of the highest order!”

Commander Karen rushed to the mic, sweating.
“With a high degree of confidence,” she announced, “this rock proves Martian life.”

Audience Reaction:
The livestream chat exploded.

  • “That’s literally an Easter egg.”

  • “My backyard has better aliens.”

  • “Bro just circled a potato.”

Suddenly, a voice boomed from the back.
It was Flatty McTruth, the Flat Earther legend.
He pointed a laser pointer at the rock.

“Congratulations, NASA. You found geology. Meanwhile, the oceans on flat Earth are full of life for free. Billions saved.”

The crowd roared with laughter. Cameras flashed.
Globus fainted. Jimmy took notes. Karen screamed into her headset for damage control.

Narrator:
And so, NASA’s first great discovery became the internet’s newest meme.
