My Uncle’s Flight Logbook Proves Something No One Wants to Admit

1 min read

I always admired my uncle. He was a decorated commercial airline pilot, with over 25 years in the skies and routes that spanned across continents. Calm, composed, and brilliant with instruments.

But the night of his retirement party, he said something that changed everything.

We were sitting around a bonfire, and I asked casually,
“Did you ever fly over Antarctica?”

He paused. Then chuckled quietly.
“They don’t let us.”

I laughed, thinking he was being dramatic. But his tone changed.

“If we flew across Antarctica, the GPS would black out. You don’t come back from that.”

He looked me in the eye:

“Because Earth… doesn’t curve. It ends.”

I Thought It Was a Joke

That night stayed in my head. I asked him later, more seriously, and he just smiled:

“It’s all a dome. The sky, the stars, all projected. I flew close enough to see where the sun resets.”

After His Death, I Found the Logbook

When he passed away last year, I inherited a box of his old things. Inside was a thick, worn-out pilot logbook.
And in the back, were pages marked “DO NOT SHOW FAA.”

It included:

  • Hand-sketched maps of Earth with Antarctica as a surrounding wall

  • Notes on sudden altimeter dropouts near southern routes

  • Radar logs that didn’t match GPS data

  • A hand-written page:

“The Earth is flat. We’re flying circles inside a boundary. We’re not supposed to know.”

Even Stranger…

A note taped to the back cover read:

“If you’re reading this, I probably said too much. They know. That’s why no pilot speaks.
Don’t believe NASA. Believe what you see.

I still don’t know what to do with this.
But I’m sharing it here, in case something happens to me.
Because the truth doesn’t need permission to be seen.
